Many things shrink once they have been wet. Generally this is true with cotton, (the fibers are stretched and stressed in fabrication and want to return to their natural form once wet) It also occurs n wool (though there are many theories; one seems to be that the lanolin that is naturally present on a sheep is processed out, and this lanolin is believed to allow the water to shed of the sheep) It also may be true that this can happen to Kelpies???
Meet Jace. . . Jed's Smaller, and Not yet Sheep wise doppelganger. I am pretty sure that name isn't staying. For a long time I toyed with " Turd", but think I might have settled on "Roo" He is a 1 yr old and is just getting his first taste of sheep.
Time will tell.
