Slips and Falls

So friend of mine who raises beautiful cattle, happy cattle, cattle that live in the lap of luxury !!

Not at all like these Cattle. . .

Had a teeny tiny problem today that meant that although this cow had enjoyed the high life and had his entire life in front of him, learned that slips and a broken legs mean  fate is a cruel mistress.  Alas, this cow was to end his life ensuring others enjoy the high life namely these twits. . .

Yes, like any Johnny Canuck

I jumped into action with the heartfelt desire not to see this poor sod go to waste.  I enlisted my accomplice who desperately wished she had somewhere else to be but like any faithful sidekick she was there.

Ad while she was quick to point out the absurdity of processing a cow in -27 weather at night she was willing to drive, hold the flashlight and generally be a good sport.  We began the operation I dressed in my winter warmest and Billie snug and secure in the truck.  I am sure Billie was expecting some kind of "B" movie type of horror show.  That was not my plan of course, due to the cold and the light i decide to just gut the poor cow and leave it at that for now I am sure future blogs will detail the "breaking down" of the bovine. For now just the gutting

AS IF !! I WOULD SHOW THAT !!

No that is just me freezing my A@@@ off hooking the cow up for the procedure to follow.  This took quite a bit longer than it should due to the light (lack of ) and cold but you know when it was all said and done I was REALLY REALLY hungry.

You know what I did . . .

that's right. . .

I went to . . .

to be continued . . .
